Govt, party embarrassed over Abrar murder: Obaidul

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the murder of BUET student Abrar Fahad is embarrassing for the government and the party.  

Obaidul Quader said this while addressing newsmen at the secretariat in the capital on Tuesday noon.

He said, “We will not let the image of the Awami League government be tarnished due to wrongdoings of a few persons. Those who will patronize wrongdoers will not be spared.”

Replying to a question, he said, “If BNP carries violence centering the Abrar Fahad murder incident, steps will be taken against them.”
