Govt to cut off connection with coronavirus-hit countries

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the government is thinking of taking stern steps to prevent the return of Bangladeshis from the countries affected by coronavirus (COVID-19).

Quader said this while briefing reporters after a meeting at AL President Sheikh Hasina's political office in the capital's Dhanmondi on Sunday (March 15).

He said the government has taken the initiative to disconnect communication with countries affected by coronavirus.
