HC asks for number of dengue death

The High Court (HC) has asked for number of death caused by dengue fever across the country till now this year.

The bench of Justice Tariq ul Hakim and Justice Md Iqbal Kabir passed the order on Wednesday.

The court asked deputy attorney general of the concerned court to submit a report in this regard on Monday next, after contacting the Health Ministry.

The court also asked two city corporations of Dhaka to submit a report with affidavit on Monday over the progress of Aedes mosquito eradication.

The court has fixed the day (Monda) for next order.
