Hazi Selim and 2 others collect AL nomination forms

Three aspirants collected nomination forms to contest for Awami League symbol ‘Boat’ in polls to Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) till noon on Wednesday.

They are Dhaka-7 lawmaker Hazi Selim, Bangabandhu Foundation Joint General Secretary Shahidullah Osmani and Bangabandhu Academy President Md Nazmul Haque.

Of them, Shahidullah Osmani sought nomination for DNCC while Hazi Selim and Nazmul Haque for DSCC.

Awami League will distribute nomination forms till December 27.

Elections to DSCC and DNCC are scheduled to be held on December 30.
