Health Minister seeks special attention from admin for 3 dists

Terming Dhaka, Gazipur and Narayanganj as hotspot of coronavirus, Health Minister Zahid Maleque has sought special attention from administration for the districts.

He said, “Dhaka, Gazipur and Narayanganj are hotspot of coronavirus. Law enforcement agencies have been asked to ensure that nobody can move in or out from the districts.”

The Minister said this at the Secretariat on Sunday noon.

Earlier, an inter-ministerial meeting was held at the secretariat over opening different mills and factories on limited scale amid coronavirus pandemic with Health and Family Planning Minister Zahid Maleque in the chair.

Zahid Maleque said the workers who have already reached Dhaka, Narayanganj and Gazipur, they will have stay there until the coronavirus pandemic becomes normal.

He said a separate committee will be formed to monitor health regulatory of garment workers. Every factory will get a medical team. They will follow the instructions of the Health Ministry. Regulations must be followed to run the factories.
