Health Minister’s APS escapes ACC call, summoned again

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned Health Minister Dr Zahid Maleque’s Assistant Personal Secretary (APS) Dr Mohammad Arifur Rahman Sheikh again as he did not appear before it.

The new letter issued from ACC’s headquarters asked him to appear before the Anti-graft watchdog on January 23.

Sources of ACC Public Relations Office confirmed the news.

The APS is alleged to embezzle a huge amount of money in the name of training in foreign countries. He had allegedly helped contractors to get different projects of various medical colleges illegally.
