Heavy rainfall likely in 4 divisions

The Met Office on Friday forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall for most places of Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, and Barishal divisions.

A warning issued on Friday evening said the rainfall, under the influence of very severe cyclonic storm ‘Bulbul’, may occur in the next 48 hours starting from 6pm.

‘Bulbul’ is currently lying over the Northwest Bay and adjoining West-central Bay.

Met Office said it is likely to hit Bangladesh on Saturday evening. The government said it is has taken adequate measures to face ‘Bulbul’.
