High Court directive to take steps to protect dolphins

The High Court (HC) has directed the authorities concerned to take steps to protect dolphins in Halda river of Chattogram.
The court has also directed to inform about their steps to protect dolphins within 72 hours.
A virtual court bench of Justice Obaidul Hassan passed the order on Tuesday.
Deputy Attorney General AmitTalukder stood for the petitioner.
Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Abdul KaiyumLiton filed the petition with the virtual bench of Justice Obaidul Hassan on Monday.
