Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi on Nov 10

The country is set to observe the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi on November 10, marking the anniversary of birth and demise of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) amid massive religious festivity and fervor.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at conference room of Islamic Foundation on Tuesday evening.

Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Md Anisur Rahman presided over the meeting.

Secretary to the Religious Affairs Ministry MA Hamid Jamaddar, Additional Secretary of the Information Ministry Mir Md Nazrul, Cabinet division joint secretary (admin) Md Khalilur Rahman, Islamic foundation secretary Kazi Nurul Islam and others joined the meeting.
