Huge foreign cigarettes seized at Chattogram airport

Staff Correspondent: Customs officials seized huge foreign cigarettes at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Thursday evening.

They seized cigarettes from a flight of Air Arabia (G 9523) coming from Sharjah.

The cigarettes were brought in violation of import policy order, they said.

Price of the seized cigarettes may be Tk 15 lakh.

However, action will be taken following tax law, customs sources said.
