Ilias Ali abducted for political reasons: Luna

Staff correspondent, DHAKA, Apr 17: Ilias Ali was disappeared for the political reasons, said the Ali`s wife Tahsina Rushdir Luna on Thursday.

 

Luna said this while briefing to the journalists at her Bonani residence, this noon.

 

The Missing BNP leader M Ilias Ali`s wife also claimed that her husband had become a victim of political enmity.

 

M. Ilyas Ali, the organising secretary of BNP has been forced disappeared from near his Gulshan residence on April 17 in 2012.

 

“The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had given assurance to get back Elias. But we could not return him till now.” Luna disappointed.

 

“I hope that he would return to us. I am optimistic for Ilias. If the state does not coordinate us, where we will go?” She also questioned.

 

BNP leader Elias Ali was abducted with his driver by miscreants on 17 April, 2012.

 

Two years have passed after the abduction of Ilias Ali.
