JS adopts condolence motions over death of Ershad

Parliament Correspondent: The Jatiya Sangsad (JS) unanimously adopted a condolence motion expressing grief at the death of former president and Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad.

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury moved the condolence motion in the House in the fourth session of the 11th parliament on Sunday.

Besides, the Parliament also expressed shock at the death of dengue affected people and key persons of the state.

The deceased are –former member of the parliament Sirajul Islam, National Awami Party (NAP) president also ex-MP professor Mozaffar Ahmed, former MP Anwara Begum.
