Journalist Dipu Hasan dies

Senior journalist Dipu Hasan is no more.

He died of cardiac arrest at Better Life Hospital at Rampura in the city on Sunday noon. He was 53.

Dipu Hasan was the executive editor of Purbapashchimbd.news.

Dipu's younger brother Alim Al Hasan said his brother had suffered a cardiac arrest at his Arambagh residence at noon. Relatives took him to Better Life Hospital in Rampura where doctors declared him dead.

Dipu worked in daily Prothom Alo, Ajker Kagaj, Ntv, Jamuna TV and Ekattor Television.
