Khaled handed over to Gulshan police

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has handed over arrested Juba League leader Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan to Gulshan Police Station.

He was handed over to Gulshan police around 2:30pm on Thursday.

Earlier, RAB filed two cases against him under the Arms and Anti-Drug Acts.

Kamruzzaman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station, said Khaled will be taken to court. Investigation Officer (IO) of the case will file petition seeking remand.

It was learnt that Khaleda was inside Gulshan Police Station till 3:00pm on Thursday.

Mentionable, RAB arrested Juba League Dhaka (South) unit Organising Secretary Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan for running an illegal casino inside a club in Dhaka.

The elite police unit apprehended him from his residence in the capital's Gulshan on Wednesday night.
