Khoka’s body to be taken to Shaheed Minar Thursday noon

Body of BNP leader and former undivided Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) Mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka will be taken to the central Shaheed Minar in the capital at 12:00pm on Thursday so that people could pay their last tributes to him.

BNP Chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the news.

He said, “BNP vice-chairman Khoka’s body will reach Dhaka on Thursday morning. His Namaz-e-Janaza will held held at South Plaza of the National Parliament at 11:00pm, infront of BNP Central Office at Paltan after Johr Prayers, at the premises of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Building at 3:00pm.”

“Another Namaz-e-Janaza will held at his Gopibag residence in the capital and then he will be buried at Juraine Cemetery beside his parents’ grave after final Janaza,” he added.

Sadeque Hossain Khoka breathed his last at 1:50pm (Bangladesh Time) on Monday. He was suffering from cancer.
