Khoka’s younger brother dies of coronavirus

Anwar Hossain Uzzal, 63, younger brother BNP Vice-Chairman and undivided Dhaka City Corporation’s former Mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka, has died of coronavirus.
He is also uncle of BNP-nominated candidate for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
Shairul Kabir Khan, an official of the chairperson's press wing, confirmed the news.
He said, ‘Anwar Hossain had been suffering from illness for long days. He was admitted to Impulse Hospital of the capital’s Tejgaon on June 20 after he contracted with coronavirus. He died there around 5:30pm on Friday.’
Anwar Hossain Uzzal left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep shock over his demise.
