The Kuwait-bound Bangladeshis will not need corona-free certificates as no one diagnosed with coronavirus here in the country yet.
Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research, Dhaka (IEDCR) Director Professor Meerzadi Sebrina Flora made the announcement while addressing a press conference on Friday afternoon.
She said, Kuwait government and local embassy informed that Bangladesh citizens don’t need to take Covid 19-free certificates to go to Kuwait. However, the citizens of India, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Syria, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia and Lebanon will have to carry the certificate.
Earlier on March 3, Kuwait restricted entry to the passengers without health clearance certificates amid coronavirus outbreak.
