Liberation War Minister, his wife test coronavirus positive

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq and his wife Laila Arjumand Banu have tested positive for coronavirus.

Senior Information Officer of the Ministry Sufi Abdullahil Maruf confirmed the news on Friday.

The Minister’s personal secretary Habibur Rahman was also diagnosed with coronavirus infection, he added.

He said, “Samples of them were tested on Thursday. Reports came as positive today. They all are taking treatment from their residences respectively according to suggestions of doctors.”

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq requested countrymen to keep them in prayers for their speedy recovery from the deadly virus.
