Libya killings: Kamal Hossain put on remand

A court here on Saturday placed human trafficker Kamal Hossain, 40, on a 3-day remand each in a case over killing 26 Bangladeshi nationals to Libya.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbir Yeasir Ahsan Chowdhur passed the remand order.
Earlier, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) produced the accused before the court seeking seven days of remand.
On May 28, human traffickers killed 26 Bangladeshi nationals, in Libya, in a smuggling warehouse in Mezda, near the city of Gharyan, southwest of Tripoli.
