Light to moderate rain likely

Senior Correspondent: Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday predicted light to moderate rain at many places over the country in the next 24 hours ending 9:00am.

“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country”, said a met office bulletin issued here today.

“Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and strong over North Bay”, it added. However, the day and night temperature may fall by (1-3) oC over the country due to the rainfall.
