Longest bridge to be built in Barishal-Bhola

Road transport and bridge minister Obaidul Quader said that connecting Bhola with Barishal, a bridge will be built. That will the longest ever bridge of the country.

The minister said this while addressing newsmen after a view exchange meeting with the officials of bridge division and Bangladesh Bridge authority in the capital on Tuesday noon.

Meanwhile, he said, around eight kilometer feasibility after viaduct of the bridge has been completed.

Obaidul Quader also said, the bridge will be built to connect Bhola, Barishal and other districts. The 8.68-kilometer long bridge will be the largest one in the country. It can be termed as the biggest mega project of the government.
