MP demands plots for U-19 cricketers

Gonoforum lawmaker Sultan Mohammad Mansur Ahmed called upon the government to allocate plots for Under-19 Cricket Team players who won the title of ICC U-19 World Cup 2020.
The Member of the Parliament (MP) came up with the demand while addressing a discussion at the national parliament on Monday.
He said, “As long as the cricketers of U-19 team continue their studies, the state under the supervision of the Education Ministry and the Prime Minister should pay for all their educational expenses from the state fund.”
“There are some players in the U-19 cricket team whose families are not well-off. The government should allot plots for them as they have brought honours for the nation,” he added.
Jatiya Party's MP Mujibul Haque Chunnu said, U-19 team becomes champion. People of the whole country are happy today. Doing hard working in U-19 world cup, our boys have put such an example that people across the globe know the name of Bangladesh now.
