Madrasa teacher held for spreading hate speech

Noakhali Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a madrasa teacher for spreading hatred through social networking sites Facebook in Noakhali.

The detainee is identified as Didarul Islam Didar, 26, a teacher of Darul Islam Model Madrasa in Maijdee, hailed from Uttar Fakirpur village of Noakhali municipality.

In a press release, RAB said, Didar was trying to destroy religious harmony spreading various kinds of false speech and hatred status in Facebook. Even, he wrote controversial posts tarnishing image of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Confirming the matter, RAB-11 company commander police super Naresh Chakma of CPC-3 Lakshmipur camp said legal action will be taken against him.
