Mamun takes over charge of RAB DG

Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun has taken over charge of Director General  (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

He took the charge as the RAB DG on Wednesday (April 15), said RAB spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Sarwar Bin Kashem.

On April 8, the government appointed Benazir Ahmed as the new inspector general of police (IGP) and Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun as the new director general (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

Earlier, Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun was the additional inspector general of Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
