Masdar Hossain case: Dr. Kamal, Barrister Amir withdrawn

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Judicial Service Association (BJSA), an organisation of lower court judges, raised allegation that senior lawyer Dr. Kamal Hossain and Barrister M Amir-Ul-Isalm among six top lawyers of the country are involved in politics over Masdar Hossain case.

Alongside, the association has also decided to cease the power of attorney to Dr. Kamal Hossain and Barrister M Amir-Ul-Islam  for operating the case.

SM Quddus Zaman, president of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association, and secretary general (Acting) of the association, also secretary of the Law Ministry, Bikash Kumar Saha, came up with the decision in a statement on Wednesday night.

The other four lawyers are Barrister Rafiq-Ul Haque, Barrister Moinul Hossain, Advocate A F Hassan Arif and Barrister Fida M Kamal.
