Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has announced his retirement from the post of the captain of the national team after the third ODI match against Zimbabwe to be held tomorrow (Friday).
"Bangladesh will play the last ODI in 3-ODI series against Zimbabwe in Sylhet tomorrow and through this match, I will retire as captain of the Bangladesh national team”, he told media on Thursday.
“Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is thinking about the 2023 World Cup from now. They want to set a new captain, and I agree with the board. So, I have decided to retire as captain”, he also said.
