Spots Correspondent: Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has got the best gift of his 31th birthday this year as he has become father of a baby boy on the day.
Shumona Haque, wife of Mashrafe, gave birth to a baby boy at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMUH) early on Sunday.
The Mashrafe -Shumana couple have been blessed with the baby boy after their first daughter was born three and a half years ago.
The national pacer returned home last night after playing the 17th Asian Games at Incheon in South Korea.
Mashrafe expressed his happiness after getting the son. He also asked everyone to pray for the new born.
The `junior Mashrafe’ was born just on the birthday of his father.
It is worth to be mentioned that the Bangladesh ODI skipper was born at Narail on the day in 1983.
