Mayor Taposh vows for stricter lockdown in Wari

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has vowed to implement stricter lockdown in Wari.

He said, ‘We are going to implement lockdown in Wari a little more strictly. We realize that people are facing problems.  They are facing many difficulties in trade and movement including livelihood. I request you to observe lockdown with patience and forbearance.’

The mayor said this in a meeting of Central Lockdown Management Committee on Tuesday.

Taposh said since beginning of the lockdown in Wari under ward no 1 on July 4, all the necessary measures including food items and medical services are being taken. We are satisfied in this case. In order to get rid of this corona epidemic, it is very important for everyone to follow the regulations instructed by the Health Directorate.
