Metro rail project’s first coach brought to Dhaka

There is a plan to inaugurate the metro rail dream project by 2021. As part of it, a mock bogie of metro rail project has been brought to Dhaka from Japan.

The mock bogie or replica coach was taken to Diabari area of Uttara on Monday noon.

Confirming the matter, road transport division deputy chief information officer Md Abu Naser said, the mock bogie was brought to display. It will not be connected to the main rail.

The construction work of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), which began in 2016, is scheduled to launch on December 16, 2021.
