Moinuddin Khan Badal passes away

Veteran politician and lawmaker Moinuddin Khan Badal has passed away.

He breathed his last around 7.45am on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Dr. Devi Shetty's Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences in Bangalore.

Moinuddin Khan Badal’s political colleague and media coordinator Alam Didar confirmed the matter.

He was undergoing treatment at the hospital from October 18, family sources said.

He was elected lawmaker thrice from Chattogram-8 constituency (Boalkhali) and was the president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD).

The veteran politician was born on February 21, 1952 in Boalkhali. To mourn his death, he left behind three sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
