New ministers to take oath on Saturday

Senior Correspondent: The members of the new Cabinet Division will be sworn in on Saturday (July 13).

President advocate Abdul Hamid will administer the oath, cabinet secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam said, on Thursday afternoon.

However, the secretary did not disclose the names of new ministers.

Ministry sources said, Fazilatunnesa Indira, a leader of the ruling Awami League's women's chapter would be seen in the cabinet. She would get the state minister post of Ministry of Women and Children Affairs. Besides, State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmad would be nominated as full minister.
