No bar to hold Viqarunnisa governing body polls

The court has withdrawn the postponed order clearing way for holding the election of capital’s Viqarunnisa Noon School and College.

Judge Nusrat Sahara Bithi of the Fourth Assistant Judge's Court of Dhaka passed the order on Thursday.

Earlier, on Wednesday, the same court issued postponed order on charge of faulty voter list.

On October 16, a voter of the governing body election, Selina Hossain filed a case. Later, the court issued a rule asking the authority why the voter list should not be cancelled.
