‘No plan for domestic gas connection’

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that the government has no plan to resume household gas connection.

The state minister said this while replying to a question made by Dhaka-4 lawmaker Syed Abu Hossain in the parliament session on Monday.

He, however, said the government is continuing to provide gas connections to hospitals, education institutions and jails for domestic use.
