‘Nobody has right to create anarchy in university’

Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel said we have information about who is creating anarchy at Jahangirnagar University (JU) through conspiracy.

He said this in an emergency press conference held at International Mother Language Institute in the capital on Saturday.

Nowfel said steps would be taken against those are making the campus unstable in name of movement over alleged corruption, though the project still has yet not funded.

There is right to protest of every wrongdoing, but no right to create anarchy. However, if JU VC is found guilty, the government must take action against her, he added.

The Deputy Minister said protesting students provided documents over JU corruption in written. The documents have yet not reached the department. A probe body will be formed in this regard after the natural calamity. Steps would be taken after investigation, if allegations are found true.
