Nobody will be allowed to run casino business: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that casino business is not legal. The business will not be allowed to run in the country. Nobody will be allowed to run the business, no matter the person becomes politician or influential public representative.

In reply to a query, the Minister said this after attending a programme at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital on Sunday.

Home Minister said Law enforcers have already started drives against illegal casino business across the country. Many clubs have been sealed. Many individuals have also been brought under law after they were arrested. Everybody should keep in mind that the business is totally illegal in our country. So, nobody can run the business. If anyone runs it, steps would be taken against him.

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon among others were present at the programme.
