One more tests positive for coronavirus in country

One more person has been found to be infected with coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, taking the number of the confirmed cases to 49.

Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora, director of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), confirmed this at a press briefing on Monday (March 30).

Among those infected, 19 have recovered and five died, she also said.

On Sunday and Saturday, IEDCR said no one was freshly infected with coronavirus or COVID-19 in 48 hours in the country.
