Outgoing Norwegian envoy meets Speaker

Outgoing Norwegian Ambassador in Dhaka Sidsel Bleken on Wednesday (July 1) called on Speaker of the Parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office at Jaitya Sangsad Bhaban.

During the meeting, they discussed different bilateral issues, economic development, steps to tackle coronavirus, trade relations and hoped that the existing dealings between Bangladesh and Norway would strengthen further in future.

Speaker said, the bilateral relation between Bangladesh and Norway is strong. Meanwhile, the speaker expected that the relationships will be strengthen in future.

Sidsel Bleken said that Bangladesh is a densely populated country. However, the coronavirus crisis is under control due to correct steps of the government. She also assured that Norway will continue its support to Bangladesh over Coronavirus pandemic.
