The results of Primary Education Completion (PEC), its equivalent Ebtedayee, and Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations are scheduled to be published today (Tuesday).
The results will be handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the morning.
Later, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni and State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain will announce the results officially through separate press briefings at their ministry offices.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is also scheduled to inaugurate the distribution of free textbooks among students for the year 2020 on the day.
As many as 25,53,267 examinees appeared in the PSC examinations while 350,371 students participated in the Ebtedayee examinations this year, Education Ministry sources said.
As many as 26,61,682 students from 29,262 educational institutions participated in the JSC and JDC examinations this year, they said. Of them, 22,60,716 are JSC examinees.
The results of PEC and Ebtedayee will be available on websites of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry while JSC and JDC results will be available on websites of different education boards.
