PM to be accorded reception in New York on Sep 22

Diplomatic Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to join the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 22.

The primer will attend a civic reception in New York City’s Manhattan Hilton hotel at evening on that day.  

Sources said, preparation and formalities are being taken following the reception. Bangladesh community in the United States will organize the program. Steps to send invitation latters are underway in this regard.  

Awami League's US unit President Siddiqur Rahman urged the Bangladeshi expatriates to join civic reception.
