PM urges SAARC countries to work together

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday urged the countries that are members of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) to work together against coronavirus.
The premier made the call while addressing a video-conference with leaders of SAARC on Sunday (March 15).
Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina extended her thanks to Modi for bringing 23 Bangladeshi students from Wuhan of China.
During her speech, the Prime Minister mentioned various steps taken by her government to tackle coronavirus.
Earlier, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon the SAARC nations to "remain more vigilant" amid the outbreak of novel coronavirus that has infected nearly 150 people in the region.
