PM opens Mugda general Hospital

DHAKA, July 19: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated a 500-bed general hospital at Jhilpar of city’s Mugdapara area on Friday afternoon.
The hospital has been established on 9.52 acre of land at a cost of Tk 110 crore.
The 13- story hospital building has 150 cabins, 350 general beds and all kind of diagnosis and treatment facilities for patients.
There is an modern ICU (Intensive Care Unit) for cardiac patients and an arrangement of CCU facilities for all kind of critical patients.
Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia laid the foundation stone of the hospital on July 13, 2006.
