PM's Military Secretary Joynul Abedin dies

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's military secretary Major General Mia Mohammad Joynul Abedin passed away at a hospital in Singapore on Tuesday afternoon.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore at 5:13pm Bangladesh time.

Rashedul Alam Khan, Assistant Director of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), confirmed the death news of Maj Gen Mia Mohammad Joynul Abedin to risingbd.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her deep shock at the death of Joynul Abedin.

The PMO said this releasing a condolence message on Tuesday evening.
