Papiya, 3 others remanded

A Dhaka court has placed sacked Jubo Mahila League Narisingdi district unit general secretary Shamima Nur Papiya and three others on a five-day demand each.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Masudur Rahman granted the remand order on Monday.

Earlier, police sought a 10-day remand for them each.

Bimanbandar Thana Police arrested them from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday.
