Passenger held with 3kg gold

A team of Dhaka Customs House has arrested a man with about 3 kg of gold from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The arrestee was identified as Sheikh Sadi.
Solaiman Saif, Assistant Commissioner of Dhaka Customs House, said a flight MH196 landed at the airport from Malaysia on Wednesday midnight.
Acting on a tip off, a preventive team of the Customs house challenged Sheikh Sadi, a passenger of the flight, and recovered 2.950kg of gold worth Tk 1.5 crore after searching his body.
The arrestee was handed over to police.
