Passengers suffer for bus schedule collapse

Staff Correspondent:  Eid holidaymakers are facing sufferings as bus schedules have collapsed because of disturbing ferry services and traffic congestion on the highways.

Different bus services had to defer their schedules by several hours adding woes to the suffering of passengers. During visits to bus terminals it was noticed that hundreds of passengers were waiting for hours for their buses.

In Gabtoli bus terminal, almost all the buses are delayed.

Strong current due to rough weather continued disrupting ferry services on Shimulia-Kathalbari route and Aricha-Doulatdia route creating long tailbacks on the both sides of the Padma.
