People returning with happy moments amid suffering

Staff Correspondent: After celebrating Eid-ul-Azha with near and dear ones, people are returning to Dhaka with happy moments passed with them amid sufferings that they faced during the journey towards their homes before Eid.

Forgetting all the sufferings the people faced during the home journey and are now facing during the return journey, they are giving priority on the blissful moments they passed with their family members.

Making a visit to Kamalapur railway station from Saturday morning till noon, it has been noticed that people who went home to celebrate Eid with their family members are making their return journey amid sufferings such as somewhat delay in train departure.

Besides, trains are seen to carry additional passengers of whom some were seen standing and some others on rooftop.

Abdul Gafur who came from Khulna said, “Celebrating Eid with family members gives so much joy and happiness. I miss the happy moments passed with them.”

Safwan Miraj, coming from Rajshahi, said, “I have passed some very wonderful hours with my near and dear ones during the Eid. It would give me more pleasure if I could have spent several days more.”
