People urged to celebrate Eid staying at home

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed has urged the people to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr staying home and enjoy time with their family members.

The police boss made the call in the verified facebook page of police on Monday.

The IGP said “We are celebrating the holy Eid-ul-Fitrat that time when the country is passing a critical moment. We should celebrate Eid sitting at homefollowing healthguidelines to help contain coronavirus transmissions and check deaths fromthe disease”.

“The country is in crisis moment. Your safety lies in your hand. Remember, if you remain safe then your family, neighbours and country will remain safe,” he said.

“This is not our last Eid. Let us wait for a next colourfulEid. Crisis of coronavirus will end one day,” he added.
