People urged to offer Eid prayer at mosques

State Minister for Religious Affairs Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah hasurged the countrymen to avoid Eidgah or other open places for Eid congregations and offer prayers at mosques maintaining recommended health advice.

He said people should celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr following healthguidelines to help contain coronavirus transmissions and check deaths fromthe disease.

The state mister made the call at a video message from his official residence in the city on Sunday noon.

He also greeted the countrymenas well as the Muslim Ummah across the globe on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslims.
