Pharmacy fined for hiking mask prices in Dhaka

A pharmacy in Dhaka has been caught and fined for hiking the price up of face masks.

Mobile court led by the director of Directorate of National Consumers' Right Protection (DNCRP) conducted a drive in capital’s Farmgate on Monday noon.

A pharmacy named ‘Sunan Pharma’ has increased the prices of masks. Meanwhile, the mobile court caught the medicine shop and shut it temporarily.

DNCRP director Abdul Jabbar Mandal said such drive will go on for the sake of betterment of people.
