Plane ready to bring back Bangladeshi students from China: FM

Foreign Minister Dr AKM Abdul Momen has that the flight is ready to bring Bangladeshi students back home from China.  

The foreign minister said this in responding to a question of newsman after attending a seminar ‘Implementation of the third periodic review of Bangladesh’ at Lakshore Hotel at Gulshan in the capital on Tuesday.

The minister said “Bangladesh is on alert to prevent ‘mysterious’ virus in China. We have talked to the government of China. They will observe the coronavirus situation for 14 days and no foreigners will be allowed to enter or exit China during this time. After two weeks of observation and we will bring home the Bangladeshi nationals living there.”

Law Minister Anisul Haq and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen were also present at the programme.
